Dr. Beat Frischmuth – Executive Director and Owner

Education and career

Beat Frischmuth studied and earned a doctorate in theoretical physics at Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zürich. He supplemented this knowledge by an executive program at Swiss Finance Institute, formerly known as Swiss Banking School.

After his studies and doctorate Beat Frischmuth worked for a major consulting firm for eight years. In 2006 he became executive director and owner of Parexa AG

Competencies and priorities

As a specialist and project leader Beat Frischmuth gained long-lasting project experience and substantiated knowledge in banking and collective insurance as well as in information technology. In particular he is looking back on an annual-lasting Avaloq-experience. Since 2001 he is an Avaloq Certified Expert.

Beat Frischmuth is focusing on the banking sector. His main consulting areas in addition to Avaloq projects are problems on business and IS architectures in banking industry plus evaluation and feasibility analysis of core banking systems, portfolio management systems and front office applications. 

Private

Beat Frischmuth is married and father of three children. During his scarce free time next to his working and family life he enjoys to go in for sports (volleyball, ski and snowboard).
